Weekend Shift Material Handler

Job SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for facilitating a variety of inbound or outbound functions of processing merchandise for fulfilling customer orders. These tasks must be completed to an efficient and accurate standard to ensure smooth operations. These positions require use of our internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment. Some, but not all, roles may include Powered Industrial Trucks.Job Location1225 Richard Petty Way, Lebanon, TN 37090We only accept W-2 candidates, H-1B sponsorship is not available.ResponsibilitiesInbound:Unload live domestic deliveries from trailers using forklift equipment, or unload import containers by handUse our ERP system to systematically receive inventory accurately and efficiency, ready to be placed in storage rackingMove palletized product using pallet jacks/forklift equipment to organize the receiving dock, or transport product to other areas of the Distribution centerScan and place inventory in racking locations using forklift equipment and a handheld scanning device, ready for warehouse operationsOperate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols and promoting safe working standardsMeet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of workMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadershipWork closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goalsAbide by all company and warehouse policies?Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operationOutbound:Pulling warehouse stock to fulfill orders as they are processed to ensure that customers receive orders in a short time frame and as accurately as possible.Completing orders so that they can be shipped in full to the customer.Safely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment to carry out job duties to ensure a safe work environmentUtilizing various hand tools to successfully complete job dutiesKeeping work zone clean and orderly so that the warehouse is a safe and clean work environmentCommunicating with Manager with any issues or concerns that arise regarding work dutiesOperate handheld electronic devices to scan and record picksMeeting all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance metricsWorking in a team environmentWork Hours4th Shift: Fri-Sun 7:00AM-7:30PMPhysical RequirementsWork is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.
