Job Description Our office is looking for a friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic new member to our team! We are a busy optometric practice in a great location in Silverlake/Los Feliz area. We are looking for a qualified and talented Optician. Spanish-speaking is a plus. Requirements: At least 2 years experience in optical sales Knowledge of optical and optical lens technology Excellent communication to assist with patient education and translate doctor's recommendations/prescriptions Ability to multi-task Superior customer service skills Responsibilities: Optical dispensing: frame selection and lens recommendations Quality inspection of completed orders Troubleshooting prescription checks Glasses adjustments and repairs All opticians are cross-trained. Alongside the above requirements, employees will also be responsible for the following job duties: schedule and confirm appointments, answer phones, call for pick-ups, verify insurance, pre-testing patients and preparing charts for the doctor, dispense patient orders, glasses adjustments.
