We value teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive, supportive work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOptical Lab DutiesEdge, mount, and finish prescription lenses accurately and efficientlyRead and interpret optical prescriptions and lab work ordersPerform quality control checks (power, axis, cosmetics, fit)Troubleshoot lab issues and perform remakes when necessaryMaintain lab equipment, tools, and a clean workspaceManage lab inventory and suppliesOptician & Front-of-House SupportAssist patients with frame selection , lens options, and stylingTake accurate measurements (PD, seg height, OC, etc.)Educate patients on lens materials, coatings, and upgradesAdjust, fit, and repair eyewearSupport optical sales while maintaining patient-first careHelp with general optometry office tasks as needed (patient flow, organization, support during busy hours)QualificationsMinimum 2-5 years of optical lab experience preferredOptician experience requiredComfortable working both in the lab and on the sales floorStrong understanding of lens types, materials, and coatingsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyFriendly, professional demeanor with patientsTeam-oriented, reliable, and adaptablePreferred (Not Required)Experience with premium lenses and frame brandsABO certificationExperience with VSP, EyeMed, or other vision plansBoutique or high-volume optical backgroundSchedule & CompensationFull-Time positionCompetitive hourly pay (based on experience)Growth opportunities within the practiceWhy Join UsWork with high-quality eyewear and modern lab equipmentSupportive, professional team cultureStable, growing practice with long-term opportunityA role that values both technical skill and patient interaction
