Project ManagerCemtek KVB-Enertec is the leader in the Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) Industry, selling gas analyzer systems and industry specific emissions monitoring software across the country and globally. We are growing and seeking an engineer for our Santa Ana, CA team.General Responsibilities:Under general supervision and with some latitude for un-reviewed action - plans, schedules, budgets, and coordinates detailed phases of a major project or as a total project of moderate scope. Carries out assignments involved with the design, testing and manufacture of all aspects of a project within the guidelines of standardization provided. Determines the resources needed to execute the project on time and on budget including the manpower, time and equipment. Minimizes the exposure to risk on each project. Ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project. Work requires a broad knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and a good knowledge of principles and practices of related engineering specialties.Specific Responsibilities:Review of specifications and all project documentationDevelops a project planTracks and update the metrics of the project planFacilitates team and client meetings effectivelyHolds regular status meetings with project team.Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organizationEffectively communicates relevant project information to superiorsResolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashionCustomer contact and correspondenceDevelops Schedules and progress reportsDevelops and issues change order requestsRequests invoicing of milestonesMaintenance of project book and documentationCoordination of Shipping/Startup/Commissioning/CertificationCoordination of all deliverable documentation and manualsManages day-to-day client interaction.Sets and manages client expectationsCommunicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutionsContinually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationshipsDevelops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client tiesBuilds a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectivesOccasional travel to customer sitesExperience and Skills Required:Previous project management experience required. Project management in an engineering, manufacturing or technical setting preferred, but not required.B.A. or B.S. degree preferredHave or be able to acquire quickly knowledge of CEMS and other Cemtek products.Have or be able to acquire quickly knowledge of the environmental compliance requirements of 40 CFR Part 75, 40 CFR Part 60, and various State or Local rules.Must have a good working ability with Word, Excel and MS Project.Excellent written and verbal communicationMust have excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers, managers, customers and vendors.Working Relationships:
