Position Type:Support Staff/ParaprofessionalDate Posted:12/9/2025Location:DistrictDate Available:ImmediatelyClosing Date:Until Filled JOB DESCRIPTIONParaprofessionals at Pipestone Area Schools are assigned specific duties to work with students and provide support to certified staff.QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma; Post-secondary degree desiredPara-pro training required for applicants without post-secondary degreeKnowledgeable computer user; understanding of learning skillsSolid communication skillsCPR Training/CertificationGeneral First Aid Training/CertificationWillingness to work with students with unique backgrounds and skillsTeam player and team-oriented thinkerRESPONSIBILITIES: Work with teachers to provide supervision, guidance and support to specific student(s) within the context of the curriculum.Maintain confidentialityParticipate in and attend professional meetingsPractice and carry out rules and procedures as defined by the Pipestone Area School District.Complete extra duty as assigned.SUPERVISION :Paraprofessionals report to the building principal.COMPENSATION:Paraprofessionals are compensated according to the current master agreement.
