Job Description Description:Job Title: Banquet ServerDepartment: Food & Beverage / EventsReports To: Banquet ManagerJob Type: Part-time / Full-time / On-callPosition Summary:We are seeking reliable, customer-focused Banquet Servers to join our events team. As a banquet server, you will play a key role in delivering a memorable guest experience at weddings, corporate events, galas, and private parties. You'll be responsible for setting up event spaces, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event.Key Responsibilities:Set up banquet rooms and tables according to event specifications (linens, silverware, centerpieces, etc.)Greet guests warmly and respond to their needs promptly and professionallyServe plated meals and beverages or manage buffet lines, depending on event typeClear plates, glassware, and other service items throughout the eventMaintain cleanliness and organization of service areasCommunicate effectively with kitchen staff and banquet captains regarding guest needsAssist with event breakdown and reset for future eventsFollow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelinesHandle guest requests, concerns, and complaints in a courteous mannerRequirements:Qualifications:Previous banquet, catering, or restaurant experience preferred, but not requiredExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to lift trays of food, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededProfessional appearance and demeanorAbility to follow directions and work as part of a teamPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and carry trays with multiple plates or glassesProlonged standing, walking, and bending throughout the shiftAbility to work indoors and occasionally outdoors depending on the venuePreferred Qualifications (Optional):Food Handler's Permit or Alcohol Server Certification (varies by location)
