Banquet Server / Server Assistant

This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and are committed to providing exceptional service during events and banquets.ResponsibilitiesAssist in setting up banquet rooms and arranging tables, chairs, linens, and centerpieces according to event specifications.Serve food and beverages to guests during events, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.Clear plates, glasses, and utensils from tables promptly and efficiently.Assist with the breakdown and cleanup after events, including proper storage of leftover items and cleaning of equipment and banquet spaces.Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, responding promptly to inquiries and requests.Collaborate with the kitchen and event staff to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment.RequirementsPrevious experience in a banquet serving or food service role preferred but not necessary.Strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain a positive attitude.Ability to work well in a team environment and be flexible in various situations.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to lift heavy trays or items and stand for extended periods.Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, based on event scheduling.Food handling certification is a plus but not required.BenefitsWe are eager to help you establish a long-term career with our team.
