The Sign Maker / Installer is responsible for creating, fabricating, and installing high-quality signage and graphics projects. This role combines creative design work with hands-on production and installation, with approximately 40% of time dedicated to design and pre-production and 60% dedicated to fabrication, finishing, and installation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in both a design environment and field settings.Qualifications & SkillsExperience in sign printing and installation of wraps/graphics requiredProficiency with design software (Adobe Illustrator required; Photoshop a plus)Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and installation techniquesAbility to read drawings, layouts, and work ordersMechanical aptitude and attention to detailsMust be able to pass a drug testKey ResponsibilitiesDesign & Pre-Production (≈40%)Create and prepare artwork for signs, vehicle graphics, wall graphics, and related projects using industry-standard design softwareSet up print-ready files, verify dimensions, colors, materials, and installation requirementsCollaborate with sales and project management to ensure designs meet customer expectations and production standardsPerform file checks, revisions, and approvals before productionProduction & Installation (≈60%)Print, laminate, cut, weed, and apply vinyl and digital graphicsPrepare surfaces and install graphics and signage on vehicles, walls, windows, and exterior structuresSafely operate tools, ladders, and shop equipmentPerform installations following safety protocols and quality standardsAssist with loading, unloading, and job site setup and cleanupCompensation Structure:Base pay $55,000 - $60,000 based on experience and skill levelQuarterly bonuses based on performanceProjected pay can range from $60,000 to $72,000
