Required Skills: Active California license and CA DEA registration Board Certification in your respective profession BLS certification Proven experience assisting with orthopedic surgeries, including trauma cases Ability to work independently and efficiently in clinical and surgical settings Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to take on call responsibilities as scheduled Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience in trauma orthopedics Familiarity with hospital privileging processes and documentation Ability to adapt to varying clinical caseloads and schedules Preferred Education and Experience: Graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital-based clinical practice in orthopedics Demonstrated surgical case logs in trauma orthopedics Experience working within California healthcare systems and electronic medical records Other Requirements: Availability to start around June 18, 2026 Monday through Thursday clinic hours (8 am–5 pm) with a 12-1 pm unpaid lunch Friday OR time with additional outpatient or admin duties when no cases Call coverage of 5-7 days/month, including night and weekend call; flexible scheduling appreciated Guaranteed 8 hours per day, with overtime after 8 hours Willingness to submit recent clinical activity documentation and case logs for privileging process Valid medical licensure and certifications in good standing Willingness to travel, if applicable, and to adhere to all hospital protocols This position offers competitive pay at $1.00/hour, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive benefits—including medical coverage, paid sick time, licensure and travel reimbursements—and a supportive team committed to your success.
