Position Overview: Profession: PhysicianSpecialty: AnesthesiologyStart Date: ASAPEnd Date: OngoingSchedule: Monday to FridayHours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 8-hour shifts are availableSetting: HospitalAnnual Surgeries: Approximately 3,600 inpatient and outpatient surgeries each year Key Responsibilities: Perform anesthesia for various procedures including orthopedic, spine, gynecology, urology, and gastric bypass surgeries.Handle minimal vascular cases, with no pediatric cases involved.Work independently with backup support from an onsite anesthesiologist.Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records (EMR).Collaborate with a supportive team of anesthesia providers, CRNAs, and anesthesia techs. Requirements: Board Certification: RequiredCertifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and PALSState License: Must be licensed in Nebraska, or willing to obtain licensure.Experience: Must be comfortable handling a variety of cases with a focus on independent work.
