Maintenance TechnicianJoin our team as a Maintenance Technician where you will be responsible for the installation of new equipment and systems, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, providing on-call assistance, and driving internal process improvements.ResponsibilitiesConduct general equipment maintenance and identify or address malfunctions in plant operational equipment such as Slitting, Packing, and Core Cutting, both manual and robotic.Monitor plant equipment operation and performance, adjusting to performance specifications as necessary and performing routine preventative maintenance.Communicate the status of operating equipment to Plant Operations and maintain logs, reports, work requests, or other records of work performed in the plant.Install new equipment and systems and create work instructions for production processes of new equipment.Train appropriate personnel on new equipment and systems.Generate ideas for continuous improvement projects and assist with implementation, prioritize low-cost projects, and submit large projects for approval.Assemble project improvement equipment, including items fabricated in-house.Essential SkillsElectrical troubleshooting, including 480v wiring and diagnostics.Mechanical troubleshooting, including gears, bearings, shafts, pins, mills/lathes experience, and general fabrication.Strong skills in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Experience with PLC troubleshooting and 3-phase electrical systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to generate and implement ideas for continuous improvement projects.Experience in training personnel and creating work instructions.Why Work Here?Work in a climate-controlled facility with opportunities for career growth into an automation technician role.
