This position will be responsible for the duties listed below along with other related functions. Familiarity with piping is a must. A team-oriented mentality and the drive to continuously improve is what sets the Loenbro team at the top of the industry. This position works closely with related engineering, construction, fabrication, and other departments to ensure that the team’s aligned goals are being met.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesWeld Map Isometric drawingsWeld & piping InspectionsProject turnover experienceEnter welding and inspection information into tracking toolAssist with pressure testing plansReview and File NDE/NDT ReportsWork with NDE personnel for planning and execution of workAssemble and review project documentation packagesPerform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance.Test welders and perform weld inspectionsReview welding requirements and ensure welding procedures complyCreate and implement Project Quality Assurance PlansProvide support and training to other inspectorsWrite inspection and test plans (I&TP’s)Committed to Loenbro’s core values and safety policiesPlan and execute Root Cause Analysis’ and Corrective Action ReportsOther duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.Minimum QualificationsRequired: Current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II certificationStrong knowledge of NDT methods with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A training/hoursExperience generating turnover packagesProficiency In reading and Interpreting drawingsKnowledge of key Industry codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE)5+ years of Quality Control Inspector experienceExperience working under a Quality Management ProgramAbility to communicate effectively and work in a team environmentHigh organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication abilitiesPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
