Switchgear Parts Coordinator - Anderson

Parts CoordinatorWe are looking for a qualified Parts Coordinator to organize material according to demand/quality standards for support of our products on customer sites. An excellent coordinator who is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are very useful for the role. The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of support for our production operations.
ResponsibilitiesWorking with logistics and production for tracking and coordinating needed switchgear product/materials.
Liaison with production, planning, sub-contractors, suppliers, including site service and meetings if required.
Generation and control of project bill of materials.
Liaison with production scheduler to ensure timely manufacture and turnaround of project deliverables.
Use of specialized electrical design knowledge to provide products compliant with customer specifications and national standards.
Coordinate with management to ensure timely handling of products / panels and general switchgear from offsite locations.
Coordinate with quality to provide proficient and stringent quality checks per internal standards.
Coordinate and facilitate switch gear testing capabilities.
Communicating frequently with Warehouse Manager, Field Services Supervisor and Project Manager is essential.
QualificationsMinimum Job Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP software preferred
Self-starter who can resolve issues, engage in creative problem solving and coordinate team efforts
Prior leadership experience
A high degree of communication and organizational skills are required
Valid driver's license is required
Education and CertificationsHigh School Diploma or GED
Physical RequirementsMedium Lifting (30 Ibs. 45 Ibs.)
Frequent Standing
Environmental DemandsNoise Level (Medium / High need to shout to be heard)
Working around moving machinery (fork-lifts, tractors)
Protective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, respirator, mask, etc.)
