Senior TPM - FedRamp Experience

About the RoleTecVeris is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead our customer’s DoD Impact Level 4 (IL4) and FedRAMP certification initiatives. This is a direct hire position, and the selected candidate will be employed full-time by our customer.This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the certification and authorization processes, ensuring alignment across security, engineering, product, and go-to-market teams. The Senior Technical Program Manager will oversee program milestones, maintain timelines, track dependencies, and ensure that deliverables meet both regulatory and business requirements. This role requires a detail-oriented leader who thrives in a cross-functional environment, can translate technical and compliance requirements into actionable plans, and keeps stakeholders aligned to achieve mission-critical outcomes.How You Will Make an Impact:● Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for IL4 and FedRAMP certification efforts ● Oversee documentation development (SSPs, POA&Ms, policies, controls evidence). Coordinate readiness assessments, gap analyses, and remediation efforts ● Manage audit and assessment schedules, ensuring timely and successful completion ● Track continuous monitoring and post-authorization obligations ● Partner with VP of Public Sector and GTM teams to ensure certification milestones are aligned with customer and business commitments ● Translate complex compliance milestones into business-facing updates and enablement materials ● Support pre-sales and customer success teams with compliance-related information and artifacts ● Establish clear and consistent communication channels ● Provide regular updates on program status, progress, and blockers to all stakeholders, including senior leadership ● Proactively identify and manage cross-team dependencies, ensuring seamless integration and coordination ● Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle ● Develop contingency plans and escalate issues as appropriateWhat You Bring to the Team: ● 8+ years of program or project management experience, ideally in cloud security, compliance, or enterprise SaaS ● Strong familiarity with FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels (IL4/IL5), NIST 800-53 controls, or similar compliance frameworks ● Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies (Kanban), and modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud-native applications) ● Proven ability to manage cross-functional programs involving security, engineering, product, and GTM ● Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines ● Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting ● Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority ● Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA,), collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence), and version control systems (e.g., Git) ● Certifications in program management, service management, and/or security (e.g., PMP, PgMP, CSM, SAFe, ITIL, CISSP)Benefits & Compensation ● Exceptional health, vision, and dental care ● Life and AD&D, short- and long-term disability ● Employee Assistance Program ● Employee Resource Groups ● Unlimited PTO ● 401K with company match ● $190-$209k annual + variable bonusLocation ● NYC metro preferred - hybrid or remote considered (must work EST hours)
