IT IS A SHORT-TERM TEMPORARY POSITION EMPLOYED THROUGH A TEMPORARY AGENCY.SUMMARYThe IT Support Specialist supports all user desktop hardware and applications. This position performs a wide spectrum of IT tasks and requires both general and specific knowledge in many areas. The IT Support Specialist is a direct interface with Corden Pharma computer users.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following. Other duties will be assigned.User Support:Provide support and training to all users on all company-wide network systemsTrack user support requests and system failures through the Help Desk System; assign tickets to other IT personnel, as neededConfigure and install PC hardware and software, to include upgrades and special configuration scenariosConfigure and support all company approved mobile devices and applicationsProvide new employees with an orientation of the computer systems and proceduresHandle inventories, files, and other IT-related data processing tasksAdd new users in Microsoft AD as specified by account requests and perform other administrative functions within ADProvides support for the Agilent OpenLab environmentNetwork Support:Troubleshoot and fine-tune: print queues, print servers, connectivity issues, client configuration(s) as required, and monitor systemsRecommend, install, and configure LAN equipment, PCs, peripherals, and softwareAssist in obtaining specifications and selecting computer software and equipment based on various factors including user needs and productivityMaintain documentation for all hardware and softwareMaintain and troubleshoot company cellular and VoIP Phone SystemsProvide Conference Room Services: video conferencing support, AV setups, etc.LEADERSHIP & BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIESProvides guidance where appropriate.
