Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Cleveland, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,255 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Cleveland, Tennessee, 37311! Job Title: Step Down Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience Must-Have: Patient ratio experience of 1:4 Description: Step Down/PCU ratios of 1:4. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Shift consists of 3x12 hours nights from 19:00 to 07:00. Floating required as needed. Block scheduling is utilized. Experience with Epic charting system is required. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. First-time travelers are considered. Locals within a 60-mile radius are not accepted. A minimum of one supervisory reference is required. Patient ratios remain 4:1 across all shifts. Daily census averages 11 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Skills required include managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care and management, and the interpretation of arterial blood gases. Experience with telemetry monitoring is necessary. Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE usage is imperative. Experience in managing cardiac drips, oxgen administration, and post-op care is essential.
