Senior Accountant

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced senior accountant to focus on high quality information and leadership in our accounting department. This role includes traditional accounting responsibilities alongside the task of compiling and presenting key financial metrics to management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial management and team leadership. We want smart, high-achieving individuals to join and enhance our team. Responsibilities: Manage all accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), company policies, and external audit requirements. Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring all revenue and costs are properly recorded and reconciled. Produce monthly, quarterly, annual, and other required financial statements and tax-related filings. Manage Sales Tax Filings Manage accounting for prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions Assist in preparation of pay applications and billings Will assist in weekly bill payments and payroll as needed Analyze financial results, variances, and trends to provide actionable insights Identify automation opportunities to streamline accounting processes Qualifications: 10+ years experience in a post-graduate accounting position. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar role. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices. Proficient in Excel and general financial management software. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field. Traits: Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
