Medical Systems Analyst
JOB TITLE: US Medical Systems, Analytics, & Reporting SpecialistLOCATION: South San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) DURATION: 6 Months+Description:This position is within the Medical Education & Communication team. We are seeking a highly analytical and process-oriented Systems, Analytics, & Reporting Specialist to drive the optimization of our organizational systems and data. This role is responsible for liaising within the Medical Education& Communication team and partnering closely with cross functional stakeholders to facilitate managing and optimizing data systems and platforms, conducting and providing analytics to drive actionable insights, and enabling and generating reports to inform decision making. You will bridge the gap between technical system management and business operations, serving as the primary lead for system transitions, automation, and cross-functional reporting.Education & ExperienceExperience: 5+ years of experience in systems administration, business analytics, or a related field.Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Salesforce systems, Tableau/Qlik dashboards, and Google suite. Strong understanding of Medical Affairs and Medical Information business needs within the pharmaceutical industry setting.Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneouslyAnalytical Skills: Strong ability to translate raw data into strategic narratives and visual dashboards.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Skills & CompetenciesOutstanding attention-to-detailDemonstrated abilities to work with considerable independence in strategizing, designing and overseeing assigned activities as well as ad hoc assignments or projectsIndependent judgment and discretion to evaluate and interpret “gray areas” and matters of significance and make appropriate recommendations on course of actionStrong investigational, analytical and complex problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal and influencing skills: can effectively and quickly establish rapport with all key internal/external customers, partners and other stakeholders.
