This role is pivotal to the organization as it will support the development and implementation of internal processes as Eastside Rise continues to grow.The Operations Coordinator is a key internal role that keeps Eastside Rise running smoothly by supporting day-to-day operations, systems, and logistics. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, community-centered nonprofit environment.Job ResponsibilitiesGeneral OperationsManage day-to-day administrative operations, including office systems, calendars, supplies, and vendor coordinationCreate and maintain internal processes related to onboarding, contractors, interns, grant reporting, and programmingIn collaboration with Community Engagement Manager, implement social media content calendar and oversee organizational social media presenceIn collaboration with Executive Director, provide ongoing support for the construction and development of the Eastside Business CenterIn collaboration with Executive Director and other leadership, identify and apply for grantsFinance & Administrative SupportAssist with basic financial administration such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and reimbursementsSupport budget tracking and reporting in coordination with Executive Director and Tulsa Community FoundationHelp maintain accurate records for grants, contracts, and complianceProgram & Event SupportProvide logistical support for programs, meetings, workshops, and community eventsCoordinate scheduling, space setup, materials, and follow-up communicationsTrack participation and assist with data collection and reportingSystems & CommunicationsHelp identify and manage databases, contact lists, and internal tools (e.g., CRM, shared drives, project management software)Support internal communications and cross-team coordinationAssist Community Engagement Manager with external communications such as emails, forms, and surveysOtherIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, systems, and workflowsSupport special projects as assignedEducationAssociate degree required and commensurate experience.Bachelors preferred.2–4 years of experience in operations, administration, or coordination (nonprofit experience a plus)Preferred ProficienciesBilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.Lead with humility and curiosity.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Process oriented and able to identify areas for improvement.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.Comfort working with budgets, spreadsheets, and administrative systems.Clear, professional written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with common tools (Microsoft Office, Asana, Meta Business Suite).An unwavering personal and professional commitment to social, racial, and economic justice.An ability to exercise sound decision-making in real-time.Physical RequirementsThe employee must occasionally lift and move up to twenty-five pounds.Sitting or standing for extended periods of timeWorking in front of computer screens for up to 8 hours a dayHours and LocationThis position is based at 1801 S Garnett Rd, Tulsa, OK 74128A typical work week is Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.The work week will occasionally vary with advance notice depending on scheduled programming and other events; on occasion, may require evening or weekend hoursDomestic travel required on occasionReliable transportationBenefits And CompensationAs part of our overall compensation package, we offer work/life flexibility, comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, and generous retirement contributions designed to support you and your family.
