Nocturnist Physician

Nocturnist opening in Greenwood, SC Full-time, permanent opening Hospital-employed Schedule: 7 on/7 off (Monday night through Sunday night), 7pm - 7am ICU: 30 beds (many managed by other service lines such as teaching services or surgical teams, so you are not always first call) 1+ year of Internal/Family Medicine ICU Care experience requiredSupport: Another hospitalist covers all floor calls You are not the code team; residents respond to all rapid responses and code blues You will respond to any ICU codes Admissions: 4â€"6 admissions per physician per night, shared 1:1 with the other nocturnist on call Additional Coverage: From 7 PM to 11 PM (Mondayâ€"Thursday), an additional hospitalist is available to assist with admissions Procedural Skills Required: Intubation/airway management, central line placement, ventilator management, use of pressors, +/- arterial lines
