As a member of the OB/Gyn leadership team, the facility medical director reports to the national medical director (NMD) or associate regional medical director (AMD). The role involves maintaining close collaboration among the clinical team and hospital leadership, and driving patient safety and quality initiatives as required by the Patient Safety Organization.
