This is a high-impact role providing strategic legal guidance across a dynamic and growing healthcare organization.The Associate General Counsel will partner closely with executive leadership, operational teams, and the General Counsel to support complex legal matters including regulatory compliance, litigation management, contracts, corporate governance, and strategic initiatives.If you are a collaborative legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys influencing business strategy, we encourage you to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Legal AdvisoryProvide expert legal guidance on corporate, regulatory, compliance, and employment mattersInterpret evolving laws and regulations and advise leadership on business impactSupport workplace investigations, policy development, and employee relations mattersCorporate Governance & Executive SupportAssist the General Counsel in supporting Board and executive leadership governance initiativesEnsure corporate entities remain compliant and in good standingLitigation & Risk ManagementManage lawsuits, claims, and disputes including coordination with outside counsel and insurance carriersEvaluate risk exposure and develop effective dispute resolution strategiesContracts & TransactionsDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including vendor, commercial, employment, and payer contractsSupport real estate legal matters such as lease review and negotiationAssist with due diligence and post-closing legal activities related to acquisitions and transactionsCompliance & Cross-Functional PartnershipCollaborate with HR, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure legal alignmentSupport corporate compliance programs and training initiativesMonitor regulatory changes and ensure timely organizational implementationSupport compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 patient confidentiality requirementsQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree and active admission to a state barMinimum 5+ years of relevant legal experience, including contracts, employment law, and regulatory complianceStrong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsExceptional written and verbal communication abilitiesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteWork Environment & TravelOffice-based role with occasional work in clinical environmentsTravel up to 25% may be requiredWhy Join BayMark?Opportunity to work directly with executive leadership on strategic initiativesCollaborative and mission-driven healthcare organizationAbility to influence compliance, growth, and operational excellenceCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
