Staff Accountant

DescriptionRobert Half is seeking a proficient Staff Accountant to join our dedicated team. As a Staff Accountant you will manage complex journal entries, process monthly close processes, and assist with tax audits. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in the accounting field for immediate consideration apply today!Responsibilities:Prepare complex journal entries and maintain records, including general ledger accounts.Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Conduct monthly balance sheet and P& L fluctuation analysis.Cooperate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data and business analytics, such as forecasting and budgeting.Assist with tax audits and tax returns.Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes where necessary.Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or related roles.Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.Highly skilled in math, accounting and financial software and MS Excel.Familiarity with financial regulations, i.e., Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Detail-oriented and organized.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
