Credit Manager

I’m looking for a seasoned Credit Manager who knows that managing risk is about more than just numbers—it's about strategy. We need a leader who can navigate the complexities of California Lien Laws while maintaining strong relationships with massive B2B accounts and "Big Box" retailers. Location: Sun Valley, CA (91352) Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire Industry: Manufacturing / Construction Supply / concrete masonry products, including low carbon concrete masonry units (CMUs) / concrete block / pavers / Retaining Wall Units /Decorative Hardscape Products and Building Supplies. Essential Functions: Evaluate and approve credit applications; set appropriate credit limits and terms Monitor accounts receivable aging and manage collection of past-due accounts Oversee issuance of preliminary notices, mechanics liens and material releases in accordance with the California laws. Develop and enforce credit policies Negotiate payment plans and resolve billing discrepancies Prepare reports as necessary Manage and train staff Qualifications: 5+ years of credit management experience in manufacturing or construction industry Knowledge of California preliminary notice and mechanics lien laws Strong mathematical, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills Knowledge of the EDI process with big box retailers such as Home Depot and large-scale B2B accounts Experience with ERP systems and AR reporting tools Bachelor's Degree required • Proven ability to balance risk management with customer service.
