This includes diagnosis and testing for the purposes of quality assurance, reliability, safety inspection, regulatory adherence, environmental impact and/or sample testing. Ability to process detailed documentation is a must.ResponsibilitiesPerform tests in a laboratory environment that can include analysis, assembling and disassembling, and chemical variations of products to ensure qualityOperate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipmentAbility to interact with inventory control programs, command line, and serial terminalsTroubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipmentConduct retesting of product as needed to support quality investigations to drive to measurable resultsMonitor use and inventories of laboratory suppliesMake recommendations for adjusting process conditions to encourage improvements and ensure quality standards are metAdhere to safety, health and environmental policies and proceduresMaintain good housekeeping to ensure laboratory cleanlinessRecord findings and clearly communicate results with teamDocument all work performed and report to managementRepresent Sennos in a professional and positive mannerEducationRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical school or associate degree in electronics, laboratory science, or related field preferred (or equivalent years of hands-on experience)ExperienceBasic knowledge of troubleshooting electronicsExperience with bench lab work and wet chemistryComfortable with small hand tools and mechanical assemblySkillsAbility to operate laboratory equipment and follow laboratory proceduresAbility to think critically and make decisions effectivelyAdaptability to an ever-evolving work environmentSelf-motivated and able to establish an effective and efficient routineExcellent time management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects independentlyGood social skills and ability to work collaborativelyProficient written and oral communication skillsCertifications/LicensesMust be 18 years of age or olderPreferred QualificationsSound understanding of Brewing ScienceExperience with inventory control systemsFamiliarity with command line interfaces and serial terminalsPrevious experience in a quality assurance or production testing environmentPhysical Requirements And Work EnvironmentAbility to stand and sit for extended periods while performing laboratory workAbility to lift up to 25-50 pounds occasionallyManual dexterity required for working with small hand tools and delicate equipmentLaboratory setting with potential exposure to chemicals (proper safety protocols followed)May require occasional overtime or weekend work to support production schedulesThis job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position and is not an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with it.
