We serve 5500 unique households annually, and are one of the largest food providers in the city.~~~About AmeriCorps VISTAs:We welcome applicants for our full time AmeriCorps VISTA opening, which is provided through Hunger Free America. AmeriCorps operates with a grant-funded year of service model, in which you can dedicate yourself to a full year of service to their community with a moderate stipend for living expenses. An excellent opportunity for those interested in starting careers in government, non-profits, social work, or education, a service year with Feast of Justice is sure to provide meaningful work for like-minded and service-oriented individuals.~~~Goals for position:The Volunteer Coordinator VISTA will build organizational capacity through expanding and supporting the work of our most critical resource: more than 800 volunteers who support us annually.
