Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer (SE III),  you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions. Your experienced skill set will allow you to have a high command of a defined area of our platform, and be able to complete small to medium-scale projects with minimal guidance. You will also get the chance to work closely with our Product team to help design and solve the overall user experience of our platform. One thing is certain; you will be a core contributor working on production code. The work you do will become part of the day-to-day life of thousands of our customers.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties/Responsibilities:Complete small to medium-sized projects with minimal guidanceDevelop and maintain microservice APIs using C# and .NetDevelop and maintain our front-end React applicationDevelop and maintain our cross-platform MAUI mobile appsParticipate in weekly releasesExplore new and existing Azure services to scale our platform efficientlyMentor junior software developers by advocating for best practices.Perform code reviewsWork closely with product and support teamsMeet weekly with team to discuss ongoing projectsExtend and document changes to existing subsystems as neededRequired Skills/Abilities:6+ years of experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldC# / .NETRESTful APIsDapper – or other microORMReact - or other modern JavaScript frameworkSQL - or other relational databaseAzure – or other cloud-based technologiesExperience with microservice architectureExperience working in an Agile environmentExpertise in building secure, scalable, enterprise systemsStrong communication skills Strong CSS skillsXamarin or MAUI experienceAzure Functions / Service Bus / Event HubsCI/CD pipelines - Azure DevOpsNoSQL Databases - MongoDB & CosmosDocker, Kubernetes, or Container AppsExperience with Azure Application InsightsExperience with database schema design and query optimization Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.At least six years related experience required.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. BenefitsCompensation range: $140,000 - $180,000 annuallyEmployee medical and dental paid by the company; you just cover vision.4 weeks (160 hours) accrued paid vacation in your first year.Options to work from home or from our vibrant office in downtown San Diego where we provide complimentary underground parking or a monthly MTS pass.We care about your physical health.
