IN-CLINIC COLLECTION SPECIALISTS WANTED
Job Description
Start Here. Grow Fast. Build Something Real. The Permian Basin does NOT stop. Neither does Patriot Safety and Services. As the areas fastest-growing Third-Party Administrator (TPA) operating under DOT 49 CFR Part 40 and FMCSA regulations, Patriot keeps energy and transportation companies compliant, operational, and protected. When Company substance abuse programs fail, operations cease — regardless of technology, resources, or workforce. We are the reason that does not happen. At the center of Patriot's clinic operations is the In-Clinic Collection Specialist. This is NOT a background role. This person is the face of Patriot to every donor, employer-client, and regulatory contact who walks through the door or calls the clinic. The standard is high because the work matters. This is Patriot's entry-level position — and we mean that as a compliment to the right candidate. Every senior collector, field specialist, and operations lead in this company started somewhere. This is where. The collectors who grow into Patriot's higher-tier field roles begin exactly here, in a clinic, doing this work.If you read this and your reaction is "that's exactly the standard I hold my to" - apply today. We'd love to speak with you! Honest Expectations — This Role Is Not For Everyone The following is NOT meant to discourage the right candidate. It is meant to protect both of us: • This is NOT a purely administrative job and it is NOT a purely a collection job. It is BOTH, every day. Candidates who want only one or the other will struggle.• Microsoft Office proficiency is not negotiable. Outlook scheduling, Excel tracking, and Word correspondence are part of the daily workflow. This is a non-starter if you describe yourself as "not a computer person."• The certification timeline begins immediately. You will be actively training and testing within your first two weeks. The pace is deliberate and non-negotiable.• Weekend on-call rotation is part of the role structure. Schedule is communicated in advance, but the commitment is real.• Chain-of-custody documentation must be accurate EVERY TIME. Federal compliance does not grade on a curve.• Company-sponsored health benefits are not currently offered. Insurance options are available at the employee's own election and expense.• Pre-employment drug test and background screening are required without exception. Patriot maintains a zero-tolerance substance policy. The Right Candidate The person who succeeds at Patriot is not defined by a specific professional background. They are defined by a specific set of traits. Every one of the following must apply:• Comfortable in both a specimen collection setting AND behind a computer managing schedules, email, and Excel tracking simultaneously• Genuinely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite — Outlook, Word, and Excel are daily tools in this role, not occasional ones• Professionally composed with every donor — including those who are nervous, resistant, or uncooperative — while maintaining procedural integrity• Detail-oriented to the degree that federal compliance documentation errors are genuinely uncomfortable for them to make• Comfortable with ambiguity in the daily schedule — collections, admin tasks, and calls do not always arrive in a predictable order• Reliable for weekend on-call rotation and occasional after-hours call-outs — this is part of the role, not an exception• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred — the Permian Basin donor and employer-client community is linguistically diverse• High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare, administrative, EMS, military, or customer service background is an advantage• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required (weekend field coverage within 75-mile radius) Certifications & Training — Fully Paid by Patriot Patriot invests in every collector from Day 1.
