Job Overview: Profession: General Medicine ProvidersCoverage Basis: PRN (as needed), ongoingSpecialties Accepted: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or anyone with a background in General Medicine or experience with Compensation and Pension.Two Options for Coverage:Travel and perform exams at VES leased facilitySchedule veterans within your own practiceWork Options:Option to work days (4 hours)Option to work full days (8 hours)Exam Type:One-time non-treatment C&P examsSeparation Health AssessmentsExam Method:Primarily interview-based with some physical assessmentRange of motion testing, muscle strength testingNo Prescribing, No TreatmentQuick Credentialing & OnboardingDMA Certification: Available (can get CME credits). Required once privileged if not already certified.Required Tool: Use of GoniometerFamiliarity with: Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions requiredProficiency in METs Testing: Evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.Technology Requirement: Own personal laptop (NO MACs)Training: Provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)Reporting/DBQs: Must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion.
