Locum Tenens Opportunity: General Medicine Physician Near Mc Quady, KY We are seeking experienced General Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens position near Mc Quady, KY. This role is on a PRN (as-needed) basis, starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing basis. Position Overview: Profession: PhysicianSpecialty: General MedicineRate Type: DailyEmergency/Temp Privileges: NoShift Type: Days (PRN - As Needed Basis)Start Date: ASAPEnd Date: OngoingWeekend Requirements: Available if desired/neededOn Call Requirements: N/A Key Responsibilities: C&P Exams:Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans.Perform evaluations primarily through interviews with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.No prescribing or treatment is required, allowing you to focus solely on conducting thorough and accurate assessments.Specialization Requirements:Open to physicians with backgrounds in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or general medicine.Familiarity with musculoskeletal conditions, diabetes, and cardiovascular issues is essential.Proficiency in METs testing, as well as the evaluation and diagnosis of respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions, is required. Coverage Options: Flexible Work Environment:Two options for coverage are available: Travel to perform exams at a designated facility or schedule Veterans within your own practice.Flexibility to work half-days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) based on your availability and preferences. Support & Training: Training Provided: Comprehensive training will be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs).Documentation:Reporting/DBQs must be completed and submitted within 48 hours of exam completion.No narrative report required; the final deliverable is the completion of standardized forms.Ongoing administrative tasks, including addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostic readings, will be required.
