The role involves building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems, with a strong emphasis on data pipelines and backend services. Candidates will contribute to privacy and compliance initiatives, working closely with other engineering teams to ensure proper data usage and labeling.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services and data pipelines (approx. 50% pipeline, 50% server-side).Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to understand data usage and compliance requirements.Label and classify data pipelines according to taxonomy standards.Drive design discussions and ensure implementation aligns with compliance goals.Manage multiple parallel workstreams (2–3 projects at a time).Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to unblock dependencies.Required Skills & QualificationsLanguagesStrong proficiency in C++ and Java (critical).Kotlin experience is a strong plus.Go and Python are nice-to-have.Frameworks & SystemsExperience with large-scale distributed systems.Familiarity with server-side frameworks (e.g., dependency injection, microservices).Exposure to Google's internal frameworks (e.g., Bach/Bioq) or similar is advantageous.ExperienceL4: 3–5 years backend engineering experience.L5: 5–7 years backend engineering experience, with prior TL (Tech Lead) responsibilities.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.Thanks & RegardsMohammad Fahad khanRecruitment LeadEmail - fahad@trilyonservices.comLinkedIn Link - https://www.linkedin.com/in/mohd-fahad-khan/
