You will spend a significant portion of your time writing code, building core systems, and solving our most complex technical challenges.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain data infrastructure that ingests and transforms engineering data at scaleDesign and implement backend services/APIs balancing speed, flexibility, security, and scalabilityCollaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to design data products and platform featuresExperienceBaseline Requirements 5–8+ years with ownership of critical components or servicesTechnical StackStrong proficiency in TypeScript + Node.js and/or PythonExperience designing/consuming REST/GraphQL APIsExperience with building & productionizing web services, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, orchestration frameworksStrong database fundamentals (SQL/NoSQL)CI/CD familiarity (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)Experience running production workloads including monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, traces, oncallSecurity fundamentalsCloudHands-on experience with one of more major cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP (certifications are a plus)Collaboration & CommunicationComfortable working with distributed international teamsEnglish C1: able to participate in technical calls and write clear communication. EducationDegree in Computer Science / Software Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience. Nice-to-HavesExperience with building & integrating with SaaS platformsExperience with engineering analytics or developer-productivity toolingExperience with IaC, containers, serverless, queues/event-driven architecturesExperience with security practices (authN/authZ, secrets management)Familiarity with engineering metrics (DORA, code quality, delivery metrics)Hands-on experience using coding agents (AI-assisted development)Work DetailsOur team meets in-person several days a week in San Mateo, CA.Compensation Range: $200K - $230K
