The Fordy Group are pleased to announce that they are partnered with a top civil GC In Georgia who are actively looking for a Project Manager to support their site work division.Project Manager:The Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering site development construction projects on commercial and residential sites from pre-construction through completion. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with company standards for quality and client satisfaction.Working within a heavy civil construction environment, the Project Manager oversees all aspects of the site development project while coordinating across internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.We would like to place emphasis on early planning, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving to ensure successful project outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Manage all phases of utility construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and closeoutCoordinate site assets including equipment, different teams and client needsDevelop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall site development timelinesIdentify risks early and implement solutions before construction beginsTeam Leadership & Coordination:Lead project teams including field staff, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendorsCollaborate with engineering, design, and preconstruction teams to resolve issues proactivelyFoster a team-oriented, relationship-driven work environmentSafety & Quality Assurance:Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulationsPromote a strong safety culture through training and leadershipEnsure quality workmanship and adherence to specificationsQualifications:5+ years of experience in heavy civil site development on commercial and residential projectsStrong knowledge of underground utility systems and site developmentExperience managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractorsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Skills:Experience with design-build or turnkey construction projectsFamiliarity with trenchless technology, excavation, and grading operationsProficiency in construction management softwareWork EnvironmentCombination of office and active construction site environmentsFrequent travel to project sitesExposure to outdoor conditions and heavy equipment operationsWhy Join us?Established leader in heavy civil and utility construction with over 75 years of experienceStrong focus on training, career development, and employee growthCollaborative, team-driven culture focused on delivering high-quality infrastructure projects
