Senior Business Program Manager (Patient Services)

The Planet Group is seeking a Senior Business Program Manager (Patient Services) to join one of our well-known global pharmaceutical client.Pay: $89-94.81/hr depending on experience (W2 and benefit options)Location: Hybrid in Mettawa, IL (Onsite T-TR)Duration: 6 mo to start (potential to extend / convertSenior Business Program Manager (Patient Services) Responsibilities:Build and sustain productive working relationships with BTS, APEX, and Patient Services Strategy Leadership by leading with influence rather than authorityManage end-to-end delivery of the performance measurement plan from design through deployment with a high degree of ownership and follow-throughProactively communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to the Associate Director of Program ManagementPartner across functions to establish clear ownership of performance targets and drives shared accountability for outcomes — ensuring all parties understand their role in delivering results against the planCollaborate with APEX and BTS to scope, develop, and deploy reporting dashboards as neededEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-leaders and leadership in Commercial, Business Technology Services, Legal, Office of Ethics and Compliance, Manufacturing Operations, Global Medical Affairs, Promotions, Brand teams, and Global Patient ServicesSenior Business Program Manager (Patient Services) Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and relevant experienceMBA, Project Management Professional certification and work experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferredSenior PM: 5-7+ years of program management and program governance experienceStrong organizational skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, program management capabilities, financial management capabilities and an in-depth understanding of the patient services and pharmaceutical businessHuman relations and administrative skills requiredLeading without Authority skills requiredConflict resolution skills including persuasive management techniques requiredExcellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills requiredAbility to communicate concepts and problems in terms that are understandable to all levels of the organization, including C-SuiteProven ability to drive outstanding team performance and engagement motivating, energizing and inspiring team membersStrong interpersonal skills, organizational savvy, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals, timelines, and accountability in a complex matrixed environmentSkilled at setting clear expectations, navigating ambiguity, and diplomatically but firmly re-engaging partners who are off-track — while maintaining composure under pressure
