For more information, visit pagaya.com.Let's create better outcomes together!About The RoleThe Associate is an integral part of the Finance org and will be responsible for cash management across Pagaya’s corporate entities, investment vehicles daily partner operations, ad hoc data analysis and automations, periodic compliance reporting, and driving special projects. The position will also assist in structured finance & securities and loan transactions across asset classes. This role represents an opportunity to contribute to a growing, publicly-traded fintech company.The role will primarily focus on financial operations, data analysis, automation, and reporting for Pagaya’s credit funds and securitization shelf. We are looking to add a talented financial professional (with a background in Finance, Treasury, Capital Markets, Corp. Dev).Responsibilities Corporate FinanceLead and assist projects and initiativesWork closely with Finance team members and assist with projects and tasks across Strategic Finance, Investor Relations, Treasury, and Capital Markets that will directly impact our company-wide priorities. Work across various teams to prepare weekly cash forecasts and other cash and borrowing projection models; coordinate with teams to identify and mitigate forecasting variancesRecommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate best practices. Treasury OperationsOperational management of securitization transactions and fundingTreasury responsibilities including cash management strategy and execution, reporting and driving special projectsPerform transactional reconciliations; research and resolve discrepanciesSupport securitization reporting, waterfall review, and P&L reviewInterface with various external securitization deal parties including originators, servicers, buy-side accounts, custodians, rating agencies, among othersCompliance testing and calculationsVendor and Partner managementThe role will offer a unique opportunity for candidates with 1-3 years of experience to gain exposure to multiple groups within a rapidly growing tech driven manager with a focus on alternative assets classes. While we are quantitatively driven, this is not a financial engineering role. We are looking for a well-rounded individual who is passionate about finance, operations, securitizations, and technology.RequirementsFinancial services experience and/or general fixed income/capital markets experience. Experience in treasury and/or investment fund operationsStrong interest in automation, data analysis and financial operationsFinance, accounting, economics, or business majorStrong excel skills (financial modeling, discount cash flow modeling, vlookup, sumifs, macros, and pivot tables)SQL and Python experience a plusExperience analyzing large data setsStructured finance experience preferredPrior experience critically reviewing legal documents preferredThe pay ranges for New York-based hires are commensurate with candidate experience.
