Manufacturing Engineer
**Position Overview**Develop robust, quality consistent processes for product fabrication. Eliminate variation by documenting these processes to maintain a standard. Troubleshoot all manufacturing processes that have variability and do not meet the standard requirements.**Essential Job Functions**Tool and Fixture DesignDesign and develop capable manufacturing processes in a Lean environmentEnsure that Proven Documented Processes are in fact used and followed through audits, line walks, and collaboration with Mfg. Supervisors.Improve existing manufacturing processes.Develop PFMEA'sDevelop and implement process controlsProgram CNC Swiss, Lathes, and Mills. Troubleshoot CNC processesLead and be a functional member on problem solving teamsGenerate detailed procedures and work instructions as requiredInterface with all QA, Manufacturing, and Assembly operationsPerform and interpret process capability studies, and implement improvements as required.Recommend and substantiate process and product changesPerform any other duties as directed by immediate supervisor.**Additional Job Functions**Support the strategic goals and vision of the organization by promoting reduction to lead times and contributing to the overall experience of our customers.Lead company problem resolution teamsLead and/or participate in company Kaizen events**Key Results Areas**Safety-No near misses/OSHA Recordable AccidentsAchieve Productivity Savings based on annual Strategic GoalIncrease unattended hoursReduce set-up and/or cycle time where possible**Essential Skills and Experience**4-Year Engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred) or MSWorking knowledge of Cad Key and SolidWorks 19Knowledge of traditional machining processes (Drilling, turning, tapping, Multi-Spindle, etc.)CNC Lathe Programming Experience Is Preferred.Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and GTandD requirementsWorking knowledge of 6-Sigma tools and conceptsAbility to work with others[]{style="font-size: 7pt; font-stretch: n"}
