Medical Assistant

Medical AssistantWe are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in our healthcare practice. The Medical Assistant will work closely with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient care.ResponsibilitiesWork across multiple floors and locations that see 250-300 patients daily.Room patients and record vital signs and medical historiesPrepare patients for examinations and proceduresAssist providers during exams and treatmentsPerform clinical tasks such as specimen collection, and phlebotomy (as permitted)Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders and scope of practiceEnsure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and properly preparedEssential SkillsProven experience in patient care and medical assisting.Strong phlebotomy skills and comfort with blood draws.Familiarity with medical records and electronic health records (EHR).Proficient in medical terminology and customer service.Ability to measure and document blood pressure accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsCMA or RMA certification preferred.Experience with front desk operations and EMR systems.A steady work history is highly valued.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooksville, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
