The facility is known for its high-volume, high-acuity cases and maintains excellent standards for emergency and trauma services with strong support for both patients and providers.Opportunity:Physician - Surgery - Trauma, Surgery - Surgical Critical CareJob Details:• Temporary coverage needed from June through end of September due to permanent provider military deployment• Must be fellowship trained in Acute Care and Trauma Surgery• Handle high volume/high acuity cases at Level 1 Trauma Center• Cover Emergency General Surgery in addition to Trauma Surgery• Recent experience with trauma and acute care surgery is mandatory• Provide 7 days/month of in-house call coverage• Work night shifts from 6pm-6am, Monday to Monday schedule• Manage adult general surgery and trauma cases• Perform chest wall/pleural procedures and liver surgery• Handle ventilation management, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheter placement• Laparoscopic surgery skills preferred including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty• Board certification required with ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications• Must hold Montana medical license or be IMLC eligible• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days• Patient encounters vary per shift• Lodging available at Home2Suites with facility discountCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
