We are committed to delivering personalized support that helps patients feel seen, heard, and understood while promoting independence and quality of life.Our work is rooted in respect, inclusion, and community partnership, ensuring every patient receives care tailored to their unique needs and background.About the RoleTEAM NY is seeking a strategic, highly organized, and operationally driven Chief of Staff to partner closely with executive leadership and help drive organizational performance across key operational departments.This role serves as a central leader connecting Intake & Patient Enrollment, Patient Care Coordination, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment, accountability, and operational excellence across the organization.The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced healthcare environments and can translate leadership priorities into measurable outcomes. This individual will oversee critical initiatives, optimize workflows, support organizational growth, and help build a high-performing culture focused on exceptional patient experience and caregiver support.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive & Strategic LeadershipPartner directly with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives and operational priorities.Translate leadership decisions into actionable plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes.Lead executive-level projects and cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution.Prepare executive briefs, presentations, dashboards, and operational reports.Facilitate leadership meetings, track action items, and ensure follow-through across departments.Support budget planning, resource allocation, and organizational goal tracking.Operational OversightProvide leadership and oversight for:Intake & Patient EnrollmentPatient Care CoordinationHuman Resources – Aide Recruitment & OnboardingAdditional responsibilities include:Establishing operational workflows, accountability structures, and performance standards.Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.Driving collaboration and communication across departments to improve service delivery.Monitoring operational KPIs and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.Intake & Patient EnrollmentOversee patient onboarding from referral through start of care.Ensure timely processing of:Patient referralsMedicaid eligibilityMLTC authorizationsEnrollment documentationMonitor metrics including:Referral conversion ratesIntake turnaround timeTime from referral to start of careEnsure accurate documentation and EMR compliance.Patient Care CoordinationSupport and guide care coordination teams responsible for patient case management.Improve patient satisfaction, retention, and continuity of care.Address operational challenges related to:Service gapsCaregiver coveragePatient concerns and escalationsImplement best practices for patient communication and follow-up.HR & Caregiver OperationsOversee Home Health Aide (HHA) and Personal Care Aide (PCA) recruitment, onboarding, and credentialing.Monitor hiring and retention metrics including:Time-to-hireOnboarding completionCaregiver retentionEnsure compliance with New York State Department of Health requirements and training standards.Partner with HR to maintain a strong pipeline of qualified caregivers.Compliance & Organizational EffectivenessEnsure operational compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations and LHCSA requirements.Maintain readiness for audits, managed care reviews, and external partnerships.Collaborate with compliance and leadership teams to mitigate operational risks.Support internal communications and organizational culture initiatives aligned with TEAM NY’s mission and values.QualificationsRequired3+ years of experience in healthcare operations, strategy, or organizational leadership.Experience managing cross-functional teams and operational initiatives.Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools.What We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:Strategic thinking and operational leadershipStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsData-driven decision-makingExceptional communication and relationship-building abilitiesA process improvement mindsetProfessionalism, discretion, and sound judgmentA passion for compassionate, culturally responsive careCompensation & BenefitsTEAM NY offers a competitive compensation package based on experience, including:Health insurancePaid time offPaid sick leave401(k) retirement planPerformance-based incentivesTEAM NY is committed to building an inclusive workplace that reflects the communities we serve.
