Accountant — Property Investment Firm Boise, ID | Full-timeA growing property investment firm is hiring an Accountant in Boise to support a busy portfolio of real estate and development assets. Hands-on role with direct exposure to ownership and clear runway as the business grows.The RoleReporting into the Controller, you'll own the day-to-day accounting across the firm's property and construction-related entities. The work is a blend of close cycle, project accounting, and analysis that feeds directly into investment decisions.What you'll be doing:Full-cycle accounting: AP, AR, GL, bank recs, journal entries, month-end closeJob costing and project accounting across active construction and development projectsTracking CapEx, draw schedules, and lender reporting on construction loansMonthly financial statements and variance analysis across multiple property entitiesBudgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning for a multi-LLC structureWorking with external CPAs on tax filings, audit support, and year-endLiaising with property managers, GCs, and project teams to keep cost data cleanWhat we're looking for3+ years' accounting experience, ideally inside a construction, real estate, or property development firmSolid working knowledge of job costing, AIA billing, and percentage-of-completion accountingComfortable with multi-entity bookkeeping (LLC structures common in real estate)Strong Excel; experience with QuickBooks, Sage 300 CRE, Yardi, or similar an advantageBachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA (or working toward) preferred, not essentialDetail-driven, self-managing, happy in a lean teamWhat's on offerCompetitive base plus performance bonusHealth, dental, vision, 401(k)PTO and flexibilityDirect line to ownership, visibility on real investment decisionsGenuine growth path as the portfolio expands
