Patriot Capital - Junior Credit AnalystSummaryThe Junior Credit Analyst ("Analyst") position involves analyzing financial data to assess the risk of lending money. The position will require the Analyst to review loan data on new, renewal and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other banks, and commercial data, then compile that data into spreadsheets, reports, summaries, and opinions for review by affiliated banking officers.FunctionsResponsible for reviewing, analyzing and completing loan submission packages within company and industry guidelines.Complexity of functions may include:1. Reviewing financial statements2. Applicable ratios (i.e. debt ratios, loan-to-value)3. Examining transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness4. Ensuring that documents are consistent and uphold to company and industry guidelines5. Implementing fraud detection techniques6. Performing compliance reviews7. Completing/facilitating transaction memos for submission to funding sources8. Processing business loan reports9. Spreads commercial financial statements. Completes personal financial statement and cash flowanalysis. Understanding and explaining industry and market dynamics.
