Payroll Specialist - Rippling
Payroll SpecialistWe are currently seeking a talented Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role but can be primarily remote and can be located in NYC, Miami or Los Angeles.ResponsibilitiesProcesses new employees into Rippling, manages payroll system.Thoroughly reviews timesheets from multiple systems and pay rates for any discrepancies, and fixes any errors to ensure accuracy.Assists managers in tracking OT.Is available to assist employees with general payroll questions.Processes off-cycle payrolls when necessary / overnights final pay checks as needed.Handles all aspects of payroll processing for team members, to include separations, manual checks, garnishments, benefits deductions and child support.Compiles payroll data and reports upon request and from time-to-time.Performs payroll audits to ensure withholding, pay, and general compliance.Uploads appropriate documents into payroll system.Communicates important information effectively with HR, managers, and employees.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in related field requiredCertification in Payroll or Accounting preferred5+ years California payroll experience.Experience with Rippling and ADP preferredExperience with payroll system implementation a plus.Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, emphasis on ExcelBenefitsHealth, vision, and dental insuranceLife and DisabilityPTO, Sick time, HolidaysOffice snacksSalary DOE.HoursFull-time, Monday - FridayBuild flexible schedule*This is a hybrid role but can be primarily remote.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits401(k)Employee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offScheduleMonday to FridayAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
