Position: Anesthesiologist Location: Morgantown, WV MPLT Healthcare is looking for physicians who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Anesthesiologist with highly competitive pay rates in Morgantown, WV. Position Details: Role is medical direction. About 250 cases per week (13K annually). Regional blocks for total knee and some shoulder. CRNA s don t do most regionals blocks, and they don t do any epidurals (per hospital policies). Average about 2-3 epidurals/day. 4 in house Monday Friday (will be 5 in house when a 7 th is recruited) 1 post call 1 on vacation Each covers 3-4 OR s now. Adding a 7 th , should be 3 consistently. On call for a 24-hour shift. Do not have to stay in-house but must be no more than 30 minutes away. Emergency surgery only on Sunday, about 8-12 cases on Saturday (mix of emergent and elective) OB is not burdensome, makes call palatable. Very low emergency C-section rate.
