Job Description : Line CookSummary of Position: Responsible for preparing assigned food items. They must follow the recipes and the portion control guidelines set by the food establishment.Duties & Responsibilities:Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station.Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas. Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent GED certificatePrevious experience working in food service is preferredMust be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storageExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team membersCERTIFICATIONS: Required to become Serv-Safe Certified within 60 days after hire date
