Job Description Job Description The Role: Take Command of the Yard Are you a "truck person" who likes to stay moving and knows your way around a commercial vehicle? We are looking for a sharp, motivated Inspector / Mechanic to be the backbone of our commercial auction yard. This is a high-energy role where you manage the flow of the lot—from the moment a truck arrives until it rolls out to its new owner. What You'll Do The First Look: Perform detailed inspections on incoming commercial vehicles to assess their condition. Master the Lot: Manage the lot "population," ensuring the yard is organized, efficient, and ready for auction. Hands-On Repairs: Handle light-duty mechanical tasks to keep units in top shape for sale. Final Hand-Off: Manage the release of sold units, ensuring a smooth transition for our buyers. What We're Looking For Mechanical Aptitude: You understand the basics of heavy equipment and trucks. Reliability: You show up ready to work and can manage a fast-paced environment. Clean Record: Must pass a criminal background check. CDL Advantage: A CDL is not required, but it is a major plus and will put you at the top of the list!
