Join us.Job SummaryMay Mobility is entering an exciting phase of growth and our team is expanding quickly. We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to be the link between all vehicle development Stakeholders including Safety, Vehicle Engineering, Autonomy, Manufacturing, Quality, Business Development and Operations. This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Program Management and will be responsible for communicating and coordinating the work to meet target deliverables and timing at each program milestone for one or several Autonomous Vehicle platforms.Essential ResponsibilitiesManage program timelines and track status of deliverables from the Product Definition until the OK to Launch phase for one or multiple Autonomous Vehicle platformsIdentify dependencies across tasks and program teams to ensure continuous alignmentTrack risk and manage mitigation plansCommunicate with development partners and customers to align program plans to escalate vehicle issuesDevelop and manage program budgets, tracking expenditures across the full program lifecycle to ensure financial targets are met and variances are proactively addressedLead cross-functional teams to define, track, and achieve bill of material cost targets in support of growth objectivesImplement and manage change when necessary to meet desired outputsPresent to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutionsChampion prioritization of safety and qualitySupport continuous improvement of the vehicle development and program management processDevelop and leverage relationships across functions to ensure clear communication and seamless follow-throughSkills and AbilitiesSuccess in this role typically requires the following competencies:Ability to see the "big picture" while also being willing to do essential daily tasks to complete objectivesAbility to multitask and prioritizeStrong technical aptitude and ability to learn; Ability to translate technical ideas to non-technical audiencesWillingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the timeValid U.S. driver's license Ability to undergo a driving record checkAbility to operate May Mobility vehiclesQualifications and ExperienceCandidates most successful in this role typically hold the following qualifications or comparable knowledge or experience:RequiredBachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Product Development disciplineAt least 5 years of experience in program management of hardware/software integrated products at an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier or OEM A passion for both process and people-oriented solutions and strong organizational skillsDesirablePMP CertificationPrevious experience working for a high-growth and mission-driven startupExperience working with Japanese Automotive OEM or SuppliersExperience working with ADAS or Vehicle Control products Physical RequirementsStandard office working conditions which includes but is not limited to:Prolonged sittingProlonged standingProlonged computer useTravel required? - Moderate: 0%-10%Benefits and PerksComprehensive healthcare suite including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.
