Electrical Engineering Intern

JOB SUMMARYThe Electrical Engineering Co-op/Intern role is an educational opportunity for an Engineering student to work alongside senior engineers in the design and development of RF Coils utilized in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This role will be responsible for individual and team assignments and will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop and manufacture complex MRI systems and components throughout all phases of the product development life cycle.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the electrical design and analysis of RF coilsVerification and validation of electrical design, including supporting engineering builds and testingExposure to manufacturing processesHands-on involvement in the building and testing of RF coil subsystemsCreate, review and release formal engineering documentationQUALIFICATIONSEducation and ExperienceRequiredCurrently enrolled and 3+ semesters pursuing a degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, physics or related fields.Experience with electrical designPreferredPrior professional internships, relevant lab or university experience a plusSkills and AbilitiesRequiredProficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and internetGood interpersonal and communication skillsFast learner with ability to multitask
