1st Class Structural Welder Location: Houma, LA Schedule: Full-Time | Day & Night Shifts Environment: Shipyard Summary Seeking experienced 1st Class Structural Welders for full-time positions in a shipyard environment. Candidates must have strong structural welding skills and be able to pass a hands-on weld test. Must-Haves 3+ years of structural welding experience Experience with FCAW (Flux Core) and SMAW (Stick) Shipyard, marine, or heavy industrial experience Ability to weld carbon steel in multiple positions Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols Must pass a hands-on weld test Reliable transportation and attendance Preferred Previous shipyard welding experience Marine vessel construction or repair experience Experience with structural fabrication and fitting Rigging or material handling experience 5 Qualifying Questions Are you available to work day or night shift in Houma, LA? 3 years
