Circuit Design Engineer

Role: Circuit Design EngineerClient: Defense-AerospaceHourly Rate: up to $79/hr (W2, non-benefited) Length: 1-year contract Location: Grand Prairie, TXShift: 4x10, 1st ShiftClearance: Due to nature of work performed within the facility, U.S. citizenship is required.Position Description:Working within the Electrical Engineering team and cross functional teams to effectively address integration and interface challengesDefining, refining, and documenting system, performance, and interface requirementsSupporting development of multiple circuit card assembliesManaging bill of materials, part sourcing, and build-up activitiesElectrical connector part selection and cable routing layoutsHelp evaluate/troubleshoot and provide technical direction for failure investigationsBe self-motivating, team-oriented and capable of making informed decisions in a timely fashion with minimal directionAble to take project ownership from conception to implementationSupporting development of multiple circuit card assemblies, flexprints, and cable harnessesCore days in office: Tuesday and Wednesday. Flex WFH days Monday or Thursday. Dependent on program needs. Required 3 days a week on site.Required Skills:Experience with circuit card design, integration, and testExperience with developing and refining system requirements, including performance, interface, and environmental requirementsExperience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic captureExperience with Cadence PSpice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysisDemonstrated effective communication skillsDesired SkillsExperience with MFC circuit card design processesExperience with military standards and specifications, including MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704Experience with Xilinx UltraScale FPGAs.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of professional experienceIf interested in learning more about this position, please submit your resume and I will call back with more information.
