Actalent is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer II in the St. Paul area!Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Paul, Minnesota. This position requires a full-time commitment, working on-site Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The selected candidate will begin as soon as possible following the completion of screening processes. The primary focus of this role is to integrate the existing CSI quality management system into our new quality management system. Candidates with previous integration experience are highly desirable. A background in equipment, particularly IQ/OQ/PQ, is beneficial as you will be involved in rewriting and executing equipment qualifications per new procedures.Responsibilities+ Review documentation of procedures and ensure proper execution of protocols and SOPs as part of the site's integration.+ Support the maintenance of controlled process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, gap analysis, control plans, and risk management documentation.+ Exercise technical skills and understanding of business objectives, manufacturing operations, and dynamics to take a proactive leadership role.+ Set direction for and take ownership of complex manufacturing engineering tasks with multiple inter-coordinating elements.+ Anticipate and identify key issues, making recommendations for resolution where precedent may not exist, requiring creative thinking.+ Interact with peers and mentors for peer review to confirm task approach and direction, as well as verification/validation activities.Essential Skills+ Excellent documentation skills+ High attention to detail+ General mechanical engineering knowledge+ Ability to quickly step into initiatives after training+ 3-5 years of prior experienceAdditional Skills & Qualifications+ Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (Electrical, Software, or Mechanical Engineering)Work EnvironmentThis position is based 100% on-site in Paul, Minnesota. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
